Back on Track: Aamgard TipFlash / High Beam Flasher
Our TipFlash module has many interesting features to offer: Ruggedized, compact and water tight housing, progammable flash count, high output power, over-temperature and short-circuit protection. Even the latter properties have caused some delivery problems in summer: The necessary output driver chips have not been available neither at the usual distributors nor directly at the manufacturer for several months. Thus, the final assembly of several dozen electronic circuit boards stayed ''on halt'' and new modules couldn't be delivered to customers.
But now there are finally more supplies and a whole slew of high beam flasher modules are build and finished and ready for sales.
Honda CB750C Café Racer
Due to a fatal transportation mishap, all the handlebar cables on a 1981 Honda CB750C were sheared off. After not a single motorbike workshop could be found near or far to repair the damage, the owner turned to us.
We then reconstructed the electric harnesses using old workshop manuals and largely rebuilt them close to motorsport standards. We also had to blueprint the switch units on the steering rack and the speedometer instrument also had to be repaired. A lot of fiddly work... But it was worth it: Now the beautiful design classic is back to its former glory.
The Honda CB750K was the successor to the technically revolutionary 750 K-Four developed in the 1960s. The 4-cylinder DOHC four-stroke engine delivers some frisky 78 bhp, which, together with the 4-4 exhaust system and the racing saddle without pillion seat, underline the character of a sporty supertourer. The CB750C is the tuned chopper version of the 750K.
And why Café Racer? Well: In the 60s, motorbikes of this sporty design were particulary popular with the young ''beatniks'' to impress the ladies at the roadside cafés. And since we had so nice weather, we wondered if this also could work today. So, we decided to hook-up with the owner for a photo session at the Duisburg town theatre square...

Control Center: Switches and Push Buttons Suitable for Motorsports
There are dozens of device switches and switch series of various manufacturers. Not every part is suitable for motorsport applications. Since many years we use switches and push buttons of SCI, Arcolectric and Apem: A ruggedised construction at high current rating of the first and a very defined mechanical actuation point of the latter ones have been our well-considered selection criteria. Especially at push buttons mounted to steering wheels and as usual in motorsports actuated with gloves the trigger response is key for ergonomic and safe operation.
- top left: coloured push buttons for steering wheels and dashboards
- top right: dip switches with or without safety caps for control panels
- bottom left: illuminated starter switches with chrome ring or in nobel black finish
- bottom right: trigger switch with illuminated LED ring for battery cut-off relays
